At Skin Statement, we have a range of treatments available which are individually tailored to your skin and how it presents at the time of your treatment. Our Skin therapist will work with you to achieve your skin health goals. We can create a course of in clinic treatments along with a home regimen to get your skin glowing and feeling it’s best! Not only will your skin be healthier, a skin treatment will also relieve stress and anxiety levels and uplift your mood.

  • Our medifacials are treatments designed to rejuvenate, strengthen and treat skin.

    Whether it is a hydration boost, sun-damage control, or pigment correction, our skin therapist will be able to customise a treatment to suit your individual needs, repairing the skin and restoring a youthful, glowing and hydrated appearance.

    As well as the skin benefits during this treatment you can expect a more relaxed mood and decreased stress levels.

    AFTER CARE

    Avoid sun exposure (use sun protection regardless), exercise, saunas, pools, any kind of extreme temperatures (hot or cold), stay hydrated.

    Resume homecare regimen as recommended by your skin therapist.

  • This is a minimally invasive treatment that buffs the outermost layer of the skin creating a smoother younger appearance. Microdermabrasion can also help with common skin concerns such as drawing out impurities, decongesting pores and promotes skin health.

    You can expect improved texture and clarity as well as increasing radiance and product penetration.

    *There are some contraindications that may prevent this treatment from being performed. Some of these include, but not limited to, open wound, cold sores, skin infection, pregnancy, active acne, eczema, psoriasis, vascular problems, uncontrolled diabetes.

    AFTER CARE

    Day 1 repair phase –

    Avoid sun exposure, exercise, saunas, pools, any kind of extreme temperatures (hot or cold), stay hydrated

    Day 2/3 repair phase –

    Vitamin B can be reintroduced to accelerate barrier repair, keep skin hydrated, avoid sun exposure (use sun protection regardless)

    Day 4-7 repair phase -

    Avoid sun exposure (use sun protection regardless) and moisturise skin as often as required, do not exfoliate. Re-introduce active vitamins and serums to enhance treatment results.

    Multiple treatments spaced approx 2wks apart recommended to achieve desired skin results.

  • Yellow Light:

    • Stimulates collagen and increases elasticity. Minimising the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and scars

    • Supports the repair of sun damage

    • Improves the appearance of psoriasis, rosacea and eczema. Aids in healing bruising and swelling post Aesthetics treatment

    Infra-Red Light:

    • Stimulates the tissue and speeds up cell renewal to increase wound healing

    • Reduces inflammation

    • Improves circulation

    Blue Light:

    • Kills the bacteria that cause acne

    • Improve skin texture and reduce enlarged oil glands

    Green Light:

    • Control oil skin

    • Improve sensitive skin

    • Tighten large pores

    LED can be a standalone treatment or added on to one of our other skin treatments to boost results. Speak to our therapists to find out which one would be suit and improve your skin health.

    *There are some contraindications that may prevent this treatment from being performed. Some of these include, but not limited to, photosensitising medication, epilepsy, diabetes.

  • Skin needling is a procedure that uses microscopic needles to create tiny punctures to the skin, in both the epidermis and dermis, depending on the depth and needles. These tiny punctures promote the skin’s natural healing response with many benefits to the skin including but not limited to, skin rejuvenation, stimulate collagen, increased cell turnover, reduction in visible scaring, reduction in pore size, reduction in fine lines and wrinkles and reduces the appearance of rosacea.

    Your skin may have a sunburnt appearance once the treatment is complete, this is a normal skin response, and should subside within 24-48hrs. Your therapist will discuss and provide detailed instructions of aftercare.

    *There are some contraindications that may prevent this treatment from being performed. Some of these include, but not limited to, Diabetes, keloid scaring, high blood pressure, heart disease, Accutane, pregnant/ breastfeeding.

    Starting at a base level peel to help remove excess dead skin cells and encourage vitamins and minerals to the surface of the skin, then build your way up to our anti-ageing peels that can help reduce acne, scarring, sun damage and softening of lines and wrinkles.
